DJ, producer and party organizer born in Alicante, Spain in 1981 as a fat kid with a big head. During his youth it didn’t take long for his dormant love of music to come out and very soon he was in contact with the Spanish guitar, the easiest resource at this time…this led him to expressing my flair with beats when he joined a local rock band. He has ever since been in close touch with music and electronic sounds. The region Pablo was born leads the electronic music party scene in Spain since the early 80′s, his environment and mind were partners. In his 20′s he went looking for adventure and he ended up in Rotterdam where he had access to turntables. A brand new world opened up. It changed me in lots of ways. Soon I could buy my own Technics and spent hours buying records during my hangovers … happy times.
In 2008, looking for new ways of communication, Pablo joined an electronic music production program at the SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in Amsterdam, and started producing his sounds. With his DJ background and now production he was given the opportunity to perform live sessions in the city and abroad in 2009 and 2010. Though after a while Pablo became tired of the much abused and trodden down commercial focus of these parties and the flavour they produced. The desire to explore a new way of bringing a unique sound to the underground scene was matched by some artists he met during this time, who had the same vision and need to offer parties based on the quality of the beats, while avoiding commercial interests. The platform called Origenes (www.origenes.com) was born in late 2010, the concept of free underground parties – met all expectations. Now in for the next ride… |
