Ook dit jaar gaan we onze verjaardag retegoed vieren! Op 19 juni om 12:00 beginnen we met onze ’24 uur durende verjaardag’. Elke doordeweekse liveshow neemt op onze verjaardag een tijdsblok van twee uur voor eigen rekening.

In deze 24hrs liveshow Update! staat de doordeweekse liveshow Strom Sessions centraal. Show host James Nidecker heeft zijn oud-collega Franklin Reeves uitgenodigd om twee uur lang een heerlijke techhouse djset weg te geven, heerlijk om op de zaterdagavond van te genieten!

James Nidecker
Extravagant DJ, producer, radio host and label owner James Nidecker has emerged onto the international electronic music scene surprising the techno scene with his vivid appearance on stage and original musical style as a producer.
Inspired by the legendary club RoXY (Amsterdam) in the 90′s he originally started playing a cross-over of Detroit techno and New York House and produced several records that entered the Dutch top 10 in various dance charts.
Nowadays he releases on his own imprint as well as on high profile labels such as Sander Kleinenberg’s Little Mountain recordings, 90watts records and David Caretta’s Space Factory and his releases and remixes are supported by DJ’s like Toni Rios, Laurent Garnier and Stephan Bodzin.
Behind the decks James definitely has his own way of improvising and combining live vocals and effects to his already pumping techno-minimal groove and with his newly formed techno-electro punk live act together with Mike Seavers he will inject even more turbulence across the dance floors like they are the devil’s prodigal sons.
As label manager of Amsterdam based techno label Strøm recordings he strives to release music that crosses various genres within electronic music without losing track of the dance floor and the label is hugely supported by house, minimal and techno deejays worldwide.

Franklin Reeves
When DJ/Producer Franklin Reeves (1983) got notice of housemusic in 1993, he was immediately caught by the virus. Inspired by the early days of house and the famous Roxy club Franklin decided it was time to control the decks himself. After his first gig in front of a big crowd (RedBull Full Moon Party) it all went upwards for him. Soon he played at parties like Dance Valley, Exrema, Mysterland and later at This is..(Sander Kleinenberg), Festival Lief and in clubs like Paradiso, Escape, Studio 80, Hotel Arena and Now&Wow. He also flew to Sweden (Jonkoping) and Turkey (Bodrum) to do more gigs. Franklin developed his style from funky house back then to a unique style of rolling deep/techhouse nowadays, as long as the groove is there! Always ready to please the crowd with the finest tunes. Nowadays he is also producing his own music. And with success. Several tracks of him were played on national and international radio (Dance Department, BBC 1). A few years ago he met Jeroen van Meeteren and Bart Heideman from 90Watts Records and soon he developed his own techy style which fitted perfectly on this Amsterdam based label. Always inspired by the early clubscene from the 90′s he’s making deep-house and tech-house which recieve many good respones from DJ..s like Paul Hamill, Chris Boshell, Mr. Jones, Tim Andresen, Nick K, Dennis Ruyer, James Nidecker, Lin, Marcella and Angelo D’Onorio. This year his tracks Crunch, Down the Drain and Futurism were released on 90Watts Records. A brand new EP is coming up for that same label and Franklin will also release tracks on Strom Recordings, the label of James Nidecker (NL)
